Ca A Lung Biopsy Show Lung Tumor?
Can a lung biopsy determine whether or not a lung mass is the result of the use of macro bid? A CT scan, expats, lung biopsy, blood tests show a 4.5 cm mass on my lower right lung but my oncologist has determined it is not cancerous. I was referred to an infectious disease specialist who took many blood tests. I waited two weeks for the results only to be told that all tests were negative. He told me if anything changes I should go to the ER. NOT SURE WHERE TO GO FROM HERE ..CAN I HAVE THE MASS SURGICALLY REMOVED?

I think you should have a second oncology opinion. that will be better. because its a mass and a malignancy (cancer ) should be seriously ruled out.
