Burning Sensation On The Back. Earlier Rheumatologist Had Prescribed Mood Enhancers. What Could This Indicate?

I am a 65 yr old female have burning sensation on my back, the whole back and sometimes the buttocks have seen numerous doctors including neuroligist. I am taking mood enhancing meds which were prescribed by rheumatologist they help a little but not for any period of time. No real diagnosis. As of late getting less relief and sensation getting more intense and lasting longer.

Hi , i have read your problem , you have not tell which part of your back is having burning sensation i.e upper back back or lower back. Your back problem which you tell is may be dur to some nerves get pressed due to previous days heavy work done or simply due to age factor . First you should get xray of back AP and Lateral view done send the reporting to us or discuss with doctor , till then apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening , take adequate rest and do back strengthening exercises as uploaded on you tube it will definitely help you .
