Bump On Lower Portion Of Tibia, Above Ankle. What It Might Be?

I have a bump on the lower portion of my tibia , couple of inches above the ankle. it appeared a few months ago... doesn t feel soft but it s not super hard either. and I didn t injure myself... have to wait a few weeks to get into my primary because he s on a long vacation. any ideas what it might be or who I should see instead?

May be .
1 Osteod osteoma , diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray and C T SCAN of tibia .
2 Osteochondroma ,this lesion is almost certainly the result of a localized disturbance of bone growth at an epiphysis.
3 Chondroma lobulated mass of cartilage , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination as well clinical examination by an orthopedic surgeon.
In my opinion it is very difficult to evaluate diagnosis without complete history and physical examination.
In my opinion consult an orthopedic surgeon and get his opinion.
