General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

In most of the cases the low lying placenta will correct by itself and attain normal position. You can do a follow up scan after eight or twelve weeks. If the position is persistently low, it might end up in a Caesarean section. Consult a gynecologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
