Are Vomiting And Flatulence Symptoms Of GERD?
Hi, I have a 4 year old who woke up in the middle of the night 2 nights ago and threw up. He only threw up once and when he woke for the day he was completely fine. Didn t act like he didn t feel good, had an appetite and energy. I thought it was just a 24 hour bug or something that came and went quickly. However the next morning about 2am he woke up and threw up again. Same exact scenario. He didn t get sick last night but he is now burping and passing gas and it smells TERRIBLE. I have consulted with a triage nurse and they don t seem to think too much of it. However, me being his mom I know something isn t right. After googling, all his symptoms lean toward GERD. Do you think this is the case?

it can be lactose intolerance or some other enteric infection can also cause such kind of symptoms. you don't have to worry at all. a simple course of antibiotic will clear up the infection
