Are Tremors, Profuse Sweating, Irregular Pulse And Chest Pain Suggestive Of Enlarged Heart?

hi, my name is Lena. I have two leaking heart valves. The one to my lung is +1 and the one to my heart is +2. My cardiologist checks me every 3 months for an enlarged heart. This morning at Bible study, I began shaking (I have tremors, vertigo, and lupus) even after tremor meds, I began to sweat. A woman there is an ICU nurse. She checked my pulse and said it was extremely fast and irregular. I had very minor chest pain. I took another low dose aspirin, I had taken one 3 hours earlier as prescribed, and another klaunapin, which is for my tremors. I still feel a slight pain above my left breast. I have a cardio apt next Monday. Is this the sign of an enlarged heart or is something else wrong here.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There can be associated heart enlargement or not, but one thing for sure here is due to pulse irregularity and extremely fast rhythm, immediate evaluation for conduction disorders and possible arrhythmia must be carried out in ER with an EKG of the heart.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
