Are There Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Unwanted 72?
one of my friend had sex just before two days of her monthly periods and taken unwanted 72. after two days she had bleeding (monthly period). my question is is there any possibility of getting pregnant after taking the unwanted 72 in 36 hours of time. please help me
Unwanted 72 can be used up to 72 hours after unprotected sex and will provide protection in 95-97% cases. The protection rate is more if it is taken early.
However even after using it within 36 hours the chances of pregnancy are very low as it prevents pregnancies in 97% cases.
The only way to know the status now is get a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the sexual episode if there is a delyed period.
Please do not worry, it protects in most cases and she has taken it within 72 hours so it will protect.
