Are There Any Home Test Kits Available For HSA?

Hi.. Gynae has advised my wife to get an HSA done for me. However, every lab I go for test, ask for me for sample through masturbation in washroom, which I am unable to do, since I didnt practice masturbation. Need answer to a couple of questions : 1. how much minimum and maximum gap should be there for sample. 2. Are tere any other option avaiable to collect sample other than masturbation. 3. In how much time, should the samle be submitted to lab..? 4. Are there any home test kits available for HSA?

Hello,

The sample for HSA is semen. Semen is collected by masturbation only. If you are uncomfortable in doctors clinic then you can collect sample in condom after discussion with your doctor. However, condom samples are not preferred since condoms has coating of spermicidal agents.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
