Are Shooting Pain Radiating From Lower Abdomen To Leg Signs Of Shingles?

Is it possible to have shooting severe pain from lower abdomen down leg be shingles. The same area now has a spot like a burn. The pain has been for 2 months and spot just occur. Dr said the pain was from pinched nerve. Now I am wondering if shingles is a possibility?

I really appreciate your concern, if this was the history of viral infection and the same area then the pain could be due to this, but it may not be always the thing and differential reason need to be found out, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
