Are Runny Nose, Throat Irritation And Fatigue Symptoms Of Cold?

I have been extremely fatigued & lethargic for 3 days now, sleeping 12-16 hours each day. I have a bit of a runny nose & scratchy throat & chills that come & go. No cough or chest congestion; always a concern at age 64. I am taking extra antioxidants & B vitamins. Could this be just a head cold?

Hello,

Runny nose and throat irritation may be due to chronic allergy or upper respiratory tract infection.

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking. Use tablet pantoprazole.

Avoid allergens. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
