Are Psychedelics Advisable When Weaning Off Drug Addiction?

I was wondering about whether or not it is safe to take psychedelics if I am a recovering drug addict? I have been sober of all drugs and alcohol for 2 1/2 years. I have been researching the subject and find many conflicting answers. Some say it helps provides the vital spiritual experience and some say absolutely not. I have done psychedelics in the past with no bad reactions. I have no co occurring mental disorders. I would like to hear a scientific, medical answer to this question. Thank you

* As per my clinical experience, the use of psychodelics is stricly not recommended when weaning off the drug addiction

* The psychodelics alter the nuero chemical transmitters release, concentration and levels in the blood circulation pausing various clinical effects.

* As the body is recovering from drug addiction weaning, it is co opting with the homeostasis mechanics.

* Addition of Psychodelic will not only hamper the recovery, but also issue additional insult to your efforts of weaning.
