Are Pimples From Duromine Or Due To Sudden Hormonal Change?
I have tried duromine twice.. and both times have come out in really bad pimples on my face. I am 25, and never have experienced this at all not even at a teenager.. do you think this was from the duromine or a sudden hormonal change? is there something I can take when being on duromine to fight off the pimples?
Duromine does not cause pimple, directly! You are absolutely correct with your suspicion you mentioned above. It does cause hormonal changes which in turn can change the flora (or amount and type of bacteria) on your skin. This secondary effect can lead to pimples.
You have a couple of options to assist in the resolution of the acne you are experiencing, however the OTC option I would encourage you to start with is a Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash. This is reduce the amount of bacteria causing the acne and hopefully provide some relief. If it doesn't then your physician will need to prescribe likely a mild antibiotic to assist in the acne resolution.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
