In a patient of this age group a demyelinating process should be given primary consideration in the differential diagnosis 2. Cerebral infarction, unspecified (*). FINDINGS: CSF spaces within normal limits. Nonspecific bilateral periventricular white matter punctate T2 hyperintensities. No restricted diffusion. No radiographic evidence of acute or subacute ischemia No intra-axial or extra-axial masses. Normal signal void in the visualized vascular structures. Mucosal thickening right antrum
