Are My Symptoms Related To Migraine?

Today I was standing at a counter filling out forms, when I suddenly felt a tightening in my chest as though I couldn t breathe, and then I felt an enormous amount of pressure in my head and I felt like I was going to pass out. I stood still and took a few slow, deep breaths, and the feeling went away, but was followed by a headache above my right eye. I have had this happen a couple of times in the past also. I have been diagnosed with migraines. Do these sound like migraines, or is something else happening?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to orbicular migraine.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

If the symptoms continue, you can try prescription painkillers such as Triptans.

I also recommend to consult your neurologist for furthe evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
