Are My SGOT, SGPT And Total Cholesterol Level In The Normal Range In The Following Blood Report?

Sir, I got diagnosed today and found my SGOT level is 59, SGPT level is 131, Serum Uric Acid is 7.4 and Total Cholesterol is 203 . I have quit alcohol and smoking in January. My age is 29 and height is 5 11 . Weight, 91 kgs. What shall i do. Regards Sandeep Sharma

Hi,

Your SGPT level is high more than two folds. You can have liver disease in form of fatty liver or steatohepatitis. I suggest you investigate with ultrasonograohy of liver to rule out it. The excess alcohol also can cause liver disease, so it's better to stop it. Take more apple, orange like fruits and green leafy vegetables. Kindly revert back with report once done.
