General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear thanks for writing to Healthcare Magic!! craving of sweets has no relation with the heavy bleeding so be relax about it but heavy bleeding is an emergency and I advise a clinical examination and Ultrasound scan immediately to know the possible cause of it which includes any tumour, cyst, fibroid, cervical or uterine dysplasia and also miscarriage if you are pregnant, you didnt mention any detail of it. So please go for investigation then the possible cause can be known.
Hope this will help you
