Are Heart Burn, Indigestion And Morning Sickness Signs Of Pregnancy?

Hi I've been having alot of pregnancy symptoms for the past few weeks s7ch as morning sickness, heart burn, indigestion and butterflies in my stomach I've taken a pregnancy test it came back positive but I'm on my period can you please help me as I'm worried

Hi,
I can understand your concern.
Presence of pregnancy symptoms along with bleeding & +ve pregnancy test can be explained in two ways.
- Either you are pregnant, with bleeding due to-
-Implantation bleeding,
- hormonal deficiency.
* Blood HCG testing/ ultrasonography of lower abdomen can throw some light on the position- consult a gynecologist for specific treatment in case result is positive.You may be given pyridoxin tabs/antiemetics/ Progestreron supplement & bed rest till the symptoms subside.
- Or, you are not pregnant, the symptoms are due to Gastritis & you have normal menstrual period.
Pregnancy test can be false positive with contamination of urine/container.
* in this case, you can take antacids/ranitidine/ bland diet to control the symptoms.
