Are Dry Mouth And Jaw Pain Caused Due To A Sore Throat?

I have been experiencing dry mouth that comes and goes; especially on the top of my mouth also causing toung irritation sometimes. I have pain on my jaw lines and a sore throat. My back teeth also consistently hurt. Most of my pains occur after I eat or I am laying down about to sleep. I am really scared ! I plan on go to the emergency room tomorrow but wanted to seek some extra advice on what can be occurring. I had an anxiety attack about two weeks ago as well, but I don t think that is the issue.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Most likely the issue sounds to be secondary from the release of stress hormones via underlying tension issue most likely.

* Need to maintain better hydration, gargles with salted lukewarm water and supportive pills for symptomatic relief from your doc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
