Are Dry And Scabbed Beauty Marks And Increasing Number Of Blood Blisters Warning Signs Of Any Underlying Disease?

I have a beauty mark that suddenly became dry and scabbed which, of course, I have picked at ever since. Is that change anything to be concerned about? I personally don t think so but my niece seems to think so and therefore I m just fielding the question before I make an appointment. I would also like to ask about the growing amount of blood blisters that seem to be showing up on my body. Again, is there any concern with these in general or because of the number showing up?

Hello,

Perhaps the mole has got infected due to your habit of manipulating it. I suggest you to use an otc topical antibiotic e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin ointment, twice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
