Are Cough, Breathing Difficulty And Back Pain Related To Lovastatin?

I am having many problems with my health and have been diagnosed with Fibermyalgia. I find that a medicine that I have been taking for 2 years can have most of the same problems that I am experiencing. I take Lovastatin and have coughing problems, breathing problems, joint problems, little energy, side and, back pains, dark urine (not a big problem), almost every thing that is mentioned to watch for. I have changed doctors 3 times in the past 2 yeard because my insurance Blue Cross-Blue Shield Advangage PPO of Michigan (in Florida) suddenly doesn t cover the doctor, which is why I am asking you. Should I ask to change to another med for somewhat high cholesterol? Sharon PIerce

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, here the most important is cough symptoms due to ACE inhibitor it is the common side effects and for this you have to discuss it with your doctor so it can be given some other anti-hypertensive, rest of the complaints are related with functional elements and that may not need any treatment but try to come out of this and for this better to control your thoughts hope this information helps.
