Hi,

Postinor 2 is actually not a regular contraceptive pill. If it is taken within 24 hours of unprotected intercourse it is 95% effective, but if it is taken 48 hours to 72 hours of unprotected intercourse then efficacy reduces to only 58%. Whether you are pregnant or not depends upon the time when you took the pills. Efficacy is dependent upon time. Brown vaginal bleeding can be implantation bleeding, other symptoms associated with implantation bleeding can be mood swings, headaches, breast soreness, lower backache & nausea. Get a pregnancy test done at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
