Are Black Stools While On Vitamin B-12 Supplements A Concern?
I have had black stool about twice in 2 to 3 wks. not much problems, little upset stomach a little but doesn t last long. Took Pepto and was ok. Never have any problems. Don t take any medicine but B-12 and over the counter alergy pill for about 2 months

Pepto can cause black stools but they can also be a sign of an upper gastrointestinal bleed as in gastritis or a peptic ulcer, so you should let your doctor know about this
