Are Zerodol And Etoricoxib Advisable For Persistent Pain In Tooth?
Hello Doctor, I have lot of teeth problems from my childhood. My most of the teeths are filled and rootcanalled. Now i got pain in one backside teeth which is not filled. My doc whom i consulted in INDIA gave me tablets (novamox-500, zerodol and etoricoxib) i dont have pain when i am having cold or hot things. The pain is happening at different intervals. Could you please tell me which tablets i need to take for preventing the infection since i dont have the insurance here to go to the hospital
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain if you have got pain in a tooth it is a sign of already progressed infection and it seems reaching the nerves and the irritation of nerves causes pain..
But in case if you do not have pain on taking hot or cold foods you need to get an X Ray done to get evaluated for the exact depth of infection and treatment can be decided accordingly..
The medicines that are given to you by dentist in India are suitable for reducing infection and pain but one thing you have to understand that once the tooth is infected medicines cannot spot it from decaying further and the only way to prevent pain and further decay is by getting the tooth treated by either filling or Root Canal Treatment..
So it will be better to get the treatment of the tooth done by getting an x Ray done so that the correct line of treatment can be planned out..
Hope this information helps..
