Are Quillivant XR And Flintstones Multivitamins Advisable For Children?

Good afternoon, My question would be, Can a female patient, 8yrs of age, taking Quillivant XR for ADHD at 2.5mL per day, take a Flintstones multi vitamin (gummy)? Pfizer pharmaceuticals does not have any contraindications listed against Quillivant for any citrus and it is also an ingredient in the medication as well citric acid anhydrous . The concern is... that if the child takes the Flintstones multi vitamin (gummy) due to its Less Than 2% citrus content, that it would adversely affect the medication strength, causing the child to not receive the most benefit of the medication. Can you help in this query?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are no known interactions and the multivitamin would not affect the activity of the medication.

Contraindications are reasons or situations that a medication should not be used.

When the list of contraindications is reviewed there is no mention of this or any multivitamin.

I hope this helps
