Are Quetiapine, Clonazepam And Divalproex Advisable For Mental Disorder?

My Dad takes medication for mental disorder. He has been given medications containing salts like Quetiapine, clonazepam, divalproex, zolpidem and levocetirizine. Are all these medicines required to be taken together as some of them does the same job? I am skeptical as he was prescribed these drugs in India by India Doctors who are famous for giving excessive medication for personal gains. Please advise. Thankyou.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. I would like to know if your dad is feeling alright or having some adverse symptoms? Does he take these meds at night? These medications are alright if he does not feel drowsy. All indian doctors are not like this. Dont worry and if you have any other queries/question please feel free to ask. Thanks and wish your dad a healthy life.
