Are Minoz BPO Gel, Acnemoist And Melalite Right Medications For Break Out On Face?
Hi Doctor , I am 28 years old and married 6 months back. I had a relatively clear face untill 3 weeks back when I started breaking out like crazy.Currently both side of my cheeks is full of pimples and scars. So my derm suggested me to use Minoz BPO Gel at night on the marks and AcneMoist Moisturiser and Melalite 15 in the day. Is this going to help me ? for those stubborn scars. Since I started using Melalite in the day my eyes have been burning a bit at office. What do you suggest.
Yes, these drugs are sufficient for the control of acne. Use a mild cleanser for face. Avoid picking any pimples. Adequate hydration is required. Since there is a sudden increase in acne, any hormonal imbalance should be ruled out.
Hydroquinone cream is usually well tolerated but it can cause minor and temporary skin irritations including mild itching or stinging and reddening of the skin. Stop the drug if it is very severe or intolerable.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General and Family Physician
