General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
In case you have regular periods with ovulation regularly by 15th day (as you suspected by ovulation bleeding). There seems to be no chance of pregnancy with the sex discussed in query. Home pregnancy test is reliable when done after 8 days delay in periods. On this situation I would advise to wait for your periods routinely. If it gets delayed, go for HPT to confirm / exclude pregnancy. If it does not come you can ask for Medical termination of pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
