Any Ideas Why 15 Wks Old Baby Pooing After Every 2 Hrs(yellow,grainy,stringy) A Day After Changing Her Bottle Teat To Medium Flow?
Hi, my baby is over 15 weeks old and formula fed. For the past week she has been having 4/5 dirty nappies a day (previously 1 per 24hrs). She now poohs almost everytime I feed her.
I took her to see the GP yesterday and he didn't seem to concerned but for the past 2 days she has had 6 dirty nappies. Sometimes only a 2hr gap between them. Her pooh is yellow/mustard, grainy and stringy. The amount of pooh in the nappies is not alot each time.
She has no temperature, nappies are wet throughout the day and her appetite is normal.
The only thing that has changed is that I changed her bottle teat to medium flow the day before this all started.

Your history suggests that she is suffering from infective diarrhea .
The change of teat has nothing to with frequency of motions.
Better consult a pediatrician and get the proper treatment .
