Almost 7 days ago I had an atypical flat mole removed via full tissue excision with stitches. The area is my shoulder blade. I have been in extreme pain since the surgery--burning, throbbing, and sometimes a sharp stinging where the wound is located. No signs of infection (fever, yellow puss, etc.). Is this normal? No pain meds were given and I have been told to take Advil which has done nothing.
