After How Long A Person Can Travel Post Appendectomy?
Hi, well, the question is on behalf of my son-in-law, who is having semi-emergency appendectomy tonight at 6. He and his wife are supposed to fly vacation to New Zealand Thursday night and I m wondering if that s even possible so soon. Not sure if ruptured or able to do laparoscopically. I m just a concerned Mom thinking ahead. Thanks for conjecture. :-)

Appendicectomy is a simple procedure and he can do all of his routine activities including travel after one week of time. The recovery period is even better with laparoscopic appendicectomy.
