After Having Anesthesia For A Stint In My Head Done

After having anesthesia for a stint in my head done thru my rt. Groin I had numbness to the bottom of my rt. Foot. This went on for about a week. Then I started having severe pain to this area with shooting pains going up my toes. This has been going on for a month. The neuro surgeon just brushed it off and said that it would not have anything to do with what he did. The ER Drdid not know but said possibly nuerothopy. My regular dr thinks maybe a pinched nerve. The pain is still here. I can't sleep. It's hard to walk. What could this be and what can I do to get rid of it?
