After Bronchitis that lasted over 3 weeks nearly 2 years ago, i keep getting chest pains. Sharp aching which is worse lying down and breathing in deeply. Its mainly located at the top breast on the right, but sometimes underneath the breast and on the side. Occasionally on the left side too.
Xrays are clear, no infection, lung capacity tests and peak flow fine. I've had a lung scan as a marker for a blood clot came up in a blood test, but this scan is clear too. No one can give me an answer besides its 'hayfever' or 'asthma', which i have both of, but this is not related. Inhalours and antihistamines do nothing to ease the pain. On top of this pain i keep getting a cough which is a harsh barking, like a seal and i cough up clear mucus.
This pain and cough hasn't been constant but on and off since that bout of Bronchitis. Sick of being in pain and being fobbed off now.
