A Man, Age 48, Had A Sudden-onset High Fever And
A man, age 48, had a sudden-onset high fever and severe chills start about midnight. Sometime during the night he took an ibuprofen, and in the morning the fever had broken or was very mild, and no more chills. What are possible causes. He has no known ongoing infections, illneses, etc.
