89 yr old Father-in-law taking 10 mg of prednisone now for a recent hospitalization for an infection around the eye. Since coming home complains of tiredness and can't get energy back. Has always been very active especially for his age. For about 13 yrs. provided total care for wife with alzheimers while taking care of all things inside and outside the home. She passed away in February. They were married for 67 yrs. Wondering if depression might be the cause rather than possibly the prednisone. His doctor has him taking larazipam in addition to other meds. Thank You.
