54 yo white male, experiencing lower left abd. pain. started right before xmas and is getting more severe pain.
symptoms include, bloating, burning pain by groin area,pain constant lower abd. area.,nausea, urges to have bowel movement, very hard stools. patient is a previous colon resection due to colon cancer stage IIIB. post 3 yrs out. negative for any cancer. patient is currently taking 1800 mg of gabapentin daily 900mg qam and 900mg qpm. Patient is also a type II diabetic. taking lantus qhs and novolog during the day per sliding scale prn. patient is very concerned about pain and has taken nausea med and pain med at this time. with no relief. what suggestions would you have??
I do not hve money to pay for this information at this time. due to the huge medical bills that we are paying on currently.thought I would try here for an answer. very confused and need advice.
