43 Old Pregnant Lady, Having Breathlessness, Loss Of Sleep. Taking Medication For BP. What Could This Be?

Hi I am18 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have been getting problems with breathlessness at night time this is also accompanied by a cough (not persistant) im not getting too much sleep as i am waking and not being able to get back to sleep, my husband is very worried and this is causing me added stress I forgot to mention I am 43 and this is my 10th pregnancy I am also on medication for controlled blood pressure (methlydopa)

Methyldopa may cause sleeplessness otherwise sleep distbtuances does occur in pregnancy No need to take a drug for sleep problem Keep blood pressure under control Ask your doctor to watch for eclampsia Hope you will have safe delivery take care
