3 Year Old With Bruises On The Nose After A Fall. Anything To Look Out For?

My 3 year old daughter fell flat on her face on the garden grass tonight, there seems to be signs of bruising across her nose area and red marks just below the nostrils. She seems fine in herself with no speech issues and she has eaten her evening meal, is there any obvious concerns we should attend to or just keep an eye on her over night?

Hi,

Falling flat on face has resulted in bruising of nose; your description does not suggest any symptoms of possible conditions such as a nasal fracture. She has eaten, has no obvious issues except for bruising - which is fine. But if you are still concerned, look out for symptoms such as vomitting, headache, active bleeding from nose. Show to a doctor if you feel worried any time.

Sreenivasan
