Question: when ever I rotate or move my right clavicle is sort of pops and crack when it con acts to my sternum. it is like grinding almost, but not bone on bone. it does not do this with my left clavicle and I have not been in any recent Injuries or anything. upon comparing both clavicle the right one seems slightly more forward than the left. there is no pain when I do this as well.

Brief Answer:
First sign of osteoarthritis or ostheocondroma.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

The popping, cracking or grinding sounds on your clavicle where it connects to your sternum may be related to different causes.
The fact that you don't have pain and haven't injured it means that fracture or trauma can't be the causes of it.

It can be an early sign of osteoarthritis since spongy cartilage may be breaking down causing bones to rub to each other.
Another option can be ostheocondroma, a benign grouth in your ribs or shoulder that can make that popping sound when you rise the arm.
A x-ray of chest is needed to check what is causing it.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
