Brief Answer:
Similar to common cold infection...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Coronavirus causes symptoms similar to any common cold and flu infection. In most individuals it causes cough either a dry cough or a cough with sputum. Fever is seen in about 40-60% cases. Therefore the infected patient may or may not complain of fever.

Besides cough and fever, it can cause a chest pain, breathing difficulties and rapid breathing.

Rarely Coronavirus infection may also cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

At present if you are not from the highly infected countries, Coronavirus infection is suspected when someone has aforementioned symptoms with history of travel to the affected countries or has had close contact with some one travelled away.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
