Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photograph.
I need to ask you few questions:
What is the duration of this rash?
Is it associated with itching or burning?
Have you used or applied anything on this area?
Do you have any other ailments or taking any medicines?
What are the other sites involved?
Kindly revert with the answers.

about one week now... I have had it before but never went to see a doctor about it. There is no itching or burning at all. I try to follow a low carb lifestyle and when I stick to it my skin condition improves almost completely. As soon as I start to consume sodas and other starchy foods it comes back rather quickly. Other areas affected are my inner elbow, where my arm folds, the corners of my mouth fown to my chin area and my neck.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be eczematous rash

Detailed Answer:
According to your complaints it seems to be an eczematous or psoriatic rash .
I would recommend you to apply a topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily along with frequent and regular application of a moisturising lotion containing white soft paraffin on the entire area 2-3 times in a day for 2-3 weeks.
Also keep the area moisturised, avoid hot water for bathing, stay in cool airy environment, wear cotton clothes and avoid harsh soaps on the body.
