Question: two black + blue surround eyes, but swollen more below the eyes, worse on the left with also blood around the left eye sclera from banging head against hard objects by a 61 yr old, severely retarded, brain damaged woman whose self injurious banging for years has recently worsened. Worried that both eyes are involved, though to different degrees. Getting worse from self inficted trauma from several days ago, peaking yesterday, Thursday, no worse all Friday. She has never banged herself this hard to produce black and blue to head, only slight bruises to limbs which always go away. As of 4 hours ago, before sleep, had no diminution in alertness or energy. No nausea or neurological symptoms, seems only infrequent, moderate pain. Slight temp of 99.3 Normal pulse at 80/ minute.
