Question: this is my second post in regards to this... my apologies as its just causing me some anxiety. my primary doctor was even somewhat beside themselves and wasnt sure what it could be. I%E2%80%99m starting to think I just ate too much salt from cheddar and sour cream chips but my primary had me stop taking lexapro just in case it was a side effect. I%E2%80%99m leaving out of town for a week and I would just like peace of mind. I went to the walk in the day before seeing my primary (as I could%E2%80%99nt get in with them that day). That doctor wasn%E2%80%99t sure either. He said it could be oral thrush or a sinus infection and presercibed me a mouth wash. both assured me it didn%E2%80%99t look like a food allergy. its a tad swollen on the sides but I can still speak normally. the red areas are very tender and sensitive to hot or salty foods. I attached photos for refernece. I don%E2%80%99t mean to be a pain. I just really want to enjoy my vacation and this is constanly in the back of my mind... I%E2%80%99m even afraid to eat and I don%E2%80%99t want to irritate it more... I%E2%80%99m pretty sure I%E2%80%99m driving my family crazy as I keep asking them to look at my tongue... it%E2%80%99s slightly driving me crazy. I usually don%E2%80%99t let things like this get to me so easily. thank you in advance for your help/ guidance.

Brief Answer:
It seems that you are having some allergic reaction or some oral thrush or due to acid reflux.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. You don't need to worry. It seems that you are having some allergic reaction or some oral thrush or due to acid reflux. You start taking betadine gargle. Start pantoprazole as this will decrease the acid reflux and will decrease the inflammation. Take plenty of water. You can start vitamin tablet to enhance healing. Please review if you have any queries.
