Round the clock Zerodol SP can be used for fever and pain relief.
Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
Fever is a symptom (and not a disease) and presents whenever there is an infection or inflammation in the body.
Usual cause of fever with chills and rigors are a malarial infection, typhoid fever, viral flu and urinary tract infections.
Kindly share if she is having any cough or cold?
Whether there are any urinary complaints or diarrhea and vomitings?
Are there any comorbidities or a significant drug history?
Zerodol SP is a combination of aspirin, acetaminophen, and caffeine which is used for the fever, pain relief (specially muscular pain ) and headaches (including migraine).
As you have already given her, depending on intensity of symptoms, she can have Zerodol SP,twice a day (or maximum thrice a day) and to be taken post meals.
Sponging with tap water (and not cold water) and application of analgesic gels over the joint can also be considered.
She is supposed to be well hydrated, have soft diet and take rest.
Usually an empiric antibiotic is also started to such patients depending on the symptomatology and body system involved.
Waiting for your revert.
Best Regards.

Welcome back.
Thanks for sharing.
She is most likely having an abdominal infection.
Usually a combination of Ofloxacin (200mg) with Ornidazole (500mg) is preferred for such patients,as can empiric therapy.
These tablets are to be taken twice a day and should be taken with food.
The course of treatment is 3 to 5 days depending on severity of infection and response of the regimen.
There are multiple commercially available preparations but these are prescription drugs (and not Over The Counter Drugs).
Kindly visit your clinician for physical consultation and further evaluation,if the symptoms do not improve.
Happy Living.
Regards.
