Does Buerger's Disease Cause A Walking Disability?

Question: my mom was just diagnosed with buerger disease. she is now dependent on a walker, she can't apply pressure on that foot is this normal?

buerger disease is involving arteries and veins.
not every patient has dependency on walker .
what is the age , associated disease as diabetes or else
