Question: my am sufferring from cough from past 1 month. initially blood was coming but after taking augmentin 1 week.. blood stopped. i am living in XXXXXXX i went to XXXXXXX and my cough became very less. the day i returned to XXXXXXX . as i landed on airport. it again started. i am thinking this is due to pollution. can i take predmet tablet as antiallergic.

Hi,

I understand you are concerned about the situation in XXXXXXX Yes the environmental factors in XXXXXXX are bad and it's troubling you. However predmet is a strong antiinflammatory drug. It has it's own adverse effects. Therefore it should be used only when there are proven inflammatory changes.

i am having cough and that is the only symptom. i had fever and throat infection and blood was there in my sputum.. alk that is cured through augmentin but this cough is not going away. pleass suggest what to do for cough. xray report is attached already.

Hi,

I empathize with your problem. It's not uncommon to have cough after a respiratory infection (post infective cough). I don't see X-ray report attached here. If you have the report, try and upload it again.

Currently if the cough is dry and you are not bringing sputum, I would suggest to try Syp Grillinctus DX 1tsp three times a day for next few days.
