Brief Answer:
It could be small bowel bacterial overgrowth

Detailed Answer:
Hi An4749,

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. What you describe could be small bowel bacterial overgrowth. Gallstone disease, lactose intolerance, celiac disease, etc. should however be ruled out. I suggest you see your doctor for blood tests (celiac antibodies, hemohlobin, liver function tests), breath test for gut bacteria, ultrasound for detecting gallstones, and a gastroscopy to diagnose reflux, gastritis, etc.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Nothing sinister.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

It is nothing sinister. I recommend you see a surgeon for your hemorroid, it is probably grade 3, suggesting you need rubber band ligation or some form of excision. What you describe on rectal examination sounds normal.

Hope this helps.
