Brief Answer:
Liquid Betadine locally.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and great gesture.
Redness and soreness at the top of her pubic area and at creases above legs indicate the possible cause as one of the following:
Dermatitis.
Furunculosis.
May be with super-added fungal infection.
Neosporin may not be adequate in such cases.
Hence I would advise for her the following:
Clean the area with water and make it dry with cotton cloth or hair-dryer.
Apply Liquid Betadine that is Povidone Iodine over the affected area liberally and let it dry. To repeat for two to four times. This helps in most of the cases.
To use loose cloths.
Check for diabetes.
Antibiotic only if there is any active infection or pus formation.

I hope this should solve the problem of the Elderly Lady.
Please do this and give me the follow up of the effects.

With Regards.
Dr T Chandrakant.
