Posted on Tue, 14 Apr 2020
Question: i had a small lump under my left tonsil after a tonsillitis stint. I went to an urgent care and they said it looks normal and not to worry. Months later I now have a bigger lump on the other side as well as the original one. And I felt hardening on the floor of my mouth on both sides like right one my salivary duct lines as Well as dysphasia I’m afraid I have throat cancer

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are concerning

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

Both tonsils enlarged and growing over time is of concern. Hardening over the floor of the mouth is probably not related to tonsillar enlargement but may be dysplasia as you said. This will need further evaluation.

I would suggest visiting an ENT doctor and get yourself examined, as that can surely rule out throat cancer.

Hope this helps.
Regards
