Question: i had a ballon sinuplasty without the turbinate reduction about a week and a half ago. i was told the recovery time would be minimal but im still experiencing a heavy dry nose feeling and sometimes deels like the air is too cold to take in all at once. is this normal??

Hii. Balloon sinuplasty is done to widen the openings of sinuses. It is not a major invasive procedure like sinus surgery. It took some time to get those widening patent. Sometimes it is reversible as the patent opening of sinus may get closed with allergy. Better you start nasal spray, antiallergic tablet levocetrizine and steam inhalation. Continue for 1 month. You will get relief.
