Question: hi doctor hope all well with you i have recently got some irritation in my nose and i thought it was sinus because some bad smell was coming from my nose and pain in my head faicial as well
i went to ent docotr and he took CT scan and everything was normal he told me it is an allregy reaction so he gave me anti histamin and nasonax
but there was no improvment
now the thing is i have itchy in my upper tooth and diconfornt in my faisial and bad smell in my left nose there is not discharge from my nose
but my teeth creating alot of itching
they gave me abx for 7days suprax but no improvment

i went to one of the dentist and he took only small xray in my left tooth ( pleaee c the attached )
she told me ther might some infection but may be from sinus but the ct of sinus was clean no pus or infection

now i am havibg bad smell in my nose when the teeth get ithy i dont know if this from my teeth and have pain in my faicial and disconfort in my teeth
when i dring cold or hot drinks nothing is happning to my teeth

need your advice and thanks for your time

Hi first of all thank you for approaching us for your query.I read through your query and I must say that there is nothing to worry in this case.It can be due to inflammation of sinus which causes pain in the teeth also. I suggest you to do warm salt water gargle and do steam inhalation (very very important). Also take antibiotics and anti inflammatory for 5 days.It will be fine . Dont go much into sunlight and expose too much to cold air(ac). If you follow all these you will be fine in a week. Have lots of warm water and fruits. Besides all these be cool and stay happy. Happy and stressfree mind is best solution for any disease. Hope you have understood what I meant. Thank you and have a healthy day.

Hi Doctor
You said I have to take antibiotics and anti inflammation tablets
Just to let you know that this condtion which I have is for 2 weeks now
I ate cipro for 7 days but it didn’t work well with my case
Also I took 5 days Suprax tablet also no use
I don’t know if those tablets were ok or the duration was low

Now I Am taking anti histamine tablets and nasonax and anti inflammatory tablet lettl improvement is there but my teeth still itchy and flamed so I don’t know what to do

Hi Thank you for your followup query. I suggest you to take amox for 5 days and flexon for 5 days. Continue your antihistamine.Stop other antibiotics.Regarding itchy teeth I wanted to see the clinical picture of the oral cavity and also if you have bigger xray of full oral cavity(to see the root and bone condition of the all the teeth) also we can reach a proper conclusion. In the meantime please do steam inhalation and warm salt water gargle(it wont do harm) which causes increased blood circulation in the sinus area and facial areas. Follow these and avoid having cold food stuffs for sometime. Try having hot coffee tea etc. I feel it will get fine in a week or two. Have lots and lots of warm water. Be calm. Cool mind and happy face is the best medicine for any disease. Hope you have understood what I meant. Thank you and have a healthy day.
